Trinitas Graduate Named National Merit Finalist

On Wednesday, May 30, 2007, the Pensacola News Journal (PNJ) featured Kaleb Trotter on its front page to honor him for attaining the distinction of being named a National Merit Finalist. Troy Moon of the PNJ wrote, "Kaleb Trotter enjoys playing poker with friends.  You can bet on the senior at Trinitas Christian School in Pensacola to go far - in life as well [as] in poker.  Like any good poker player, he knows how to play his cards.  He leaves money out of the equation and plays just for fun and to test his brain. So far, his brain has passed all tests."  One of only 11 National Merit Scholarship finalists in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties and one of 15,000 nationwide, Kaleb was quoted describing classical education, "I love the methodology. You not only learn facts, you learn how to put them together into a coherent form and present them in a way that's pleasing and beautiful.  The way I think about it, my parents have given me the best, and, by the grace of God, I have been given a good mind.  So I try to use it in the best possible way."

The Trinitas family is proud to claim Kaleb Trotter as a graduate of Trinitas Christian School.
