Academic Overview

The Scriptures call Christians to fill their minds with “whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report,” as well as things that are virtuous and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8) and to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). Accordingly, Trinitas Christian School holds high academic standards that honor God’s high calling for the Christian mind and also that will prepare students for future academic endeavors and a lifetime of learning.

Student Life at Trinitas

Trinitas Christian School employs the classical approach of learning based upon the centuries-old trivium described in The Lost Tools of Learning by Dorothy L. Sayers that structures learning according to the God-given stages of child development. This enables students to gain knowledge, understanding, and wisdom at an age when subjects are most easily mastered.

Meet the Faculty

At Trinitas Christian School our goal is to provide an excellent education founded upon a biblical worldview. All subjects are taught as part of an integrated whole, with the Scriptures at the center, serving as the hub of all knowledge. As a result, students learn to interrelate and examine knowledge, allowing them to view their studies as a unified effort. The focus of this effort is to see God’s sovereignty over all and to glorify Him.

Admissions Process

Trinitas Christian School uses an admissions procedure that resembles the application process used in many private colleges, allowing our school more accurately to identify and admit students from families who have expressed convictions similar to those upheld by the school regarding the education of their children.

A few words from our parents

We were blessed to join the Trinitas family in its first year and all three of my daughters are Trinitas graduates. Not only did they receive an excellent education, they matured as Christian young women who love the Lord and understand his sovereignty over all of his creation. All three went on to succeed in college and are now married with children of their own. We all benefited from our years as a Trinitas family and I recommend it highly to anyone who desires to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

“We see the fruits of the classical education our children received at Trinitas! We would love for other families to benefit as well.”
- Liza Zepp (alumni parent)

“Trinitas is providing our children a Christocentric approach to education focused on spiritual and character formation not just developing the intellect. It is making education part of the discipleship process governed by theology and under the lordship and headship of Christ. It is bringing parents, students and teachers together in community. It is creating a love for life-long learning and discipleship with a pursuit of virtue and an appreciation for the true, the good and the beautiful. It is teaching students how to think and not just what to think. It is training the affections with a focus on the heart and not just the head, characterized by love for God and love for neighbor.”

“Trinitas is the complete package for Christian families like us. It provides a high level of education and rich literature not available outside of classical education all with Christian principles. We appreciate the good manners are taught with love in the classrooms and on the playground, teachers and staff devoted to excellence in everything they do, and the safe family-like environment.”
