img_0221-copyWith our second annual Benefit Gala and Auction behind us, we are pleased to announce that it was a great success!  With over 120 silent auction items on which to bid and 13 live auction items,  just about every palate was satisfied.  Our greatest bidding war ensued when it came to who would win a night with our beloved teachers.  Mr. Hadley’s evening of theater fetched $2000 and not to be outdone,  Mr. Poorman and Mr. Johnson’s murder mystery luau was sold at a similar bid of $2000.  The menu is yet to be determined… pressure gentlemen!img_0243t

The decor was elegant and many attendees enjoyed dancing after the meal prepared by Gus Silivos and his staff.   Over 200 tickets were sold and 9 sponsors and benefactors donated to generate over $37,000!  This will bless our many endeavors both with scholarships offered and amenities added to our science and technology departments.   Thank you very much for your efforts to bring this to pass and for ensuring that the Gala would be a success!  We could not have done it without you!  We would like to offer special thanks to Mrs. Mary Riesberg and Mrs. Emily Shafer, our Gala and Auction chairmen, who were instrumental in the success of this wonderful evening.  Thank you ladies; we love and appreciate you.
