The sun peeked from behind the clouds just long enough for the sixth and twelfth grade students to witness many of God’s amazing creatures at the Gulfarium in Fort Walton Beach.  The two classes observed the massive alligators with their sharp teeth and playful otters in the well designed habitats.  They cheered on the dolphins and sea lions as they performed and frolicked in the water on wave and command from their trainers.  The students learned about the ecosystem of tidal pools and the medicinal benefits of the horseshoe crab whose blood contains copper which is used in medical research.
