With a powerful charge from Reverend Justin Hughes, twelve rhetoric students were inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS) Tuesday morning.  Current members reminded us of the pillars on which the organization stands; character, scholarship, leadership, and service while candles were lit to represent each of these criteria.  The inductees met stringent academic requirements and demonstrated participation in service to the church and the community.  With a recommendation from a pastor, teacher, coach or boss and an endorsement from the NHS committee, each of the new members were called to the stage and presented with their certificate.  Congratulations to our inductees:

Master Lucas Benoit
Miss Jessica Croley
Master Clark Dunham

We pray the words of Rev. Hughes to use their intelligence and gifts for the good of God’s kingdom and our community resonate in their minds for all the days of their lives.
