School of Grammar

The School of Grammar at Trinitas includes grades 1-6 and corresponds to the grammar stage of the trivium, in which the focus is on giving students the basic building blocks (or grammar) of each subject.  The grammar of each subject is the foundation of factual knowledge needed for building understanding and wisdom.  Students learn the grammar of history, Bible, English, and Latin (beginning in the 3rd grade), as well as literature, music, drama, and art, all within the context not only of a Christ-centered curriculum but also of a Christ-centered class environment.  With a maximum class size of 15, classes are large enough to be viable but small enough to provide individual attention to particular students' needs.
