Mrs. Robson’s second grade class traveled to Green Cedars Farm in Molino to learn about various farm animals. Farmer Roger Elliot taught the students all about the home he had created for his horses, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, guineas, pigs, various dogs, and a bobtail barn cat.  The children fed the goats and found eggs from the chickens.  They developed a new appreciation for the extensive hard work that goes into running a working farm as well as the benefits of enjoying locally grown meat and produce.
